The problem is that I think everyone prefers the cast who they actually saw live. I myself saw Rachel Tucker and Louise Dearman last weekend and they were absolutely amazing. Had there been a CD with them on it, I know for sure that nobody would have left that theatre without one! Surely it must be possible to record a CD for each new cast. Just think of the extra revenue!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO A LONDON CAST RECORDING!! I don't think people are saying they don't like the OBC recording because of their American accents, but it does the West End a disservice to assume that the OBC recording is best and therefore the one that people will want. I personally love the West End, as I am sure you guys love Broadway. We have to be proud of our heritage. I think it is important that a West End recording is made so that British Theatre is not belittled and made to feel somewhat second rate when the reality is it is far from that! Rachel Tucker is such an inspiration and she sings beautifully and with such ease! I URGE YOU BIGWIGS! IF YOU READ THIS! MAKE A WEST END RECORDING!!! :-)

i recently wen to see the show i think Alexia Khadime has the most amazing voice and the cd should be re done with her in it
